Job Title: Machine Operator - Additive Technician (3D Printing)Job DescriptionJoin our team in Gaithersburg as an Additive Technician, where you will be responsible for the daily operation of Additive Manufacturing machines, post-processing of 3D built parts, and maintaining shop cleanliness. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for 3D printing technology. You will start training on the day shift and then transition to night shifts, working from 7:30 PM to 4 AM, Monday through Friday.Hard Skills
Operation of Additive Manufacturing machines (EOS SLS, Stratasys Fortus 450, Stratasys 900, PostPro3D Vapor Smoother, Prusa i3Mk3s+ desktop FDM, and Stratasys Connex machines)
Powder handling including powder blending and SLS build breakouts
Support removal from FDM printed models using manual methods or soluble bath
Post-processing skills such as drilling, tapping holes, installing inserts and helicoils, dyeing, sanding, bagging, and tagging
Regular use of ERP systems
