Please Note: This is a 100% remote role but candidates in the local to Washington, D.C. metropolitan area are preferred, however, other location will be considered.

Description of Assignment/Role:

  • Active IRS MBI Clearance
  • Work with Java developers to convert legacy code from ALC to JAVA
  • Develop and maintain application tools used for converting and triaging legacy to modern code
  • Provide innovative solutions to problems encountered during code migration

RequirementsStaff resource skillsets should include:

  • Active IRS MBI clearance
  • Candidates MUST be US Citizens or have Permanent Resident Status for at least 3 Consecutive Years.
  • Bachelors Degree or above preferred with 8 years of experience. More experience is required for non-degreed candidates.
  • Assembler programming experience (8 years preferred)
  • Experience with mainframe file data, JCL, run logs, and schedules
  • C-code and REXX development experience
  • Experience using Control M (or comparable) and Endevor (or comparable)
  • Demonstrated ability to seek out information (proactive learning)
  • Experience using Microsoft products including Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Skype, and Teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Experience with Java and Eclipse is a plus
  • Experience with the IRS IMF application a plus
