NPosition Type ManagementPOSITION SUMMARYThe Manager will report directly to the Senior Director, Financial Reporting and Analysis (FR&A) and be an integral member of the FR&A team. This highly motivated individual will contribute to the accuracy, quality and timely issuance of the Company's balance sheet and cash flow reporting.This position will indirectly supervise professional staff through the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow processes and be instrumental in guiding their professional development. The Manager will regularly interact with senior leadership of FR&A, Accenture Hospitality Services (AHS), Corporate Financial Accounting, Finance Business Partners, and other corporate departments within the Global Finance organization.EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS
Manage and actively participate in balance sheet and cash flow quarterly reporting for the enterprise in a complex, global, multicurrency environment. Proactively review significant activity in off-quarter months.
Manage preparation of the quarterly and annual Consolidated Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Reporting Packages and other team deliverables. Responsibilities include:
Coordinating receipt of supporting schedules from various process owners. Verifying and documenting the accuracy and completeness of each schedule and discussing significant activity with preparer.
Analyzing material items, identifying key trends, and highlighting critical variances to budget and prior year, ensuring that balances and activity are accurately reported in accordance with GAAP and significant variances are explained.
Identifying key risks and opportunities to assist in developing new ways to present information to senior management with meaningful and actionable reports.
Working closely with process owners to understand and report financial business transactions.
Review and post material journal entries identified by various business contacts to the actuals and cash flow ledgers to properly state reported balances.
Manage assigned sections of the cash flow forecast and budget processes including the review of inbound schedules from other departments and analysis of information vs expected activity.
Participate in efforts to ensure that reporting processes and related controls are documented. Ensure that processes are efficient and effective while delivering high-quality, user-friendly statements.
Actively participate in discussions with process owners on significant financial transactions and work with other team members and the Accounting Policy group to ensure transactions and new policies are recorded correctly in accordance with GAAP.
Support interim and year-end audit procedures. Prepare and review PBCs and provide select quarterly SEC reporting deliverables.
Participate in efforts to fully leverage MI production level systems (HFM, Essbase Cubes, EPM). Partner with FR&A team members to identify and implement systems changes as needed to support balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
Manage and maintain Smart View models, Hyperion Financial Reporting/Management reports, and PeopleSoft trees used to produce various balance sheet and cash flow reports and other analysis.
Participate in the review and approval of balance sheet account and accounting owner change requests.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
CANDIDATE PROFILEEducation or Certification:
B.S./B.A. in Accounting, Finance, or related disciple required.
CPA preferred.
Experience:
At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience with strong analytical orientation.
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Demonstrated customer service orientation.
Strong accounting and systems skills. PeopleSoft experience preferred.
Experience in Marriott business, processes and systems a plus.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, policies and controls.

The salary range for this position is $93,400 to $132,200 annually.
