Friendly, but high volume, busy internist office in the blue-collar area, desire a Full time/Office Manager/front desk person. Essential skills needed for the job are multitasking, parallel thinking, reliability, ability to handle stress, both from work and people, good communication skills, organizing, attention to detail, following protocols, friendliness, teamwork, and a sense of humor. Some of the duties are pulling charts, greeting patients, "checking" them in, checking insurance and balances, collecting money from patients, filing, making appointments, referrals, light cleaning and answering phones. This is not an exhaustive list of duties. You must know how to communicate by email. Should know how to use Microsoft office If you don't, we will train you.
Experience is a big plus. But we can train you. You will be managing everyone in the office. After a training period and after few months you will be managing whole office.
We will consider you a part of our "Family". We are a small office. Experience is a plus but we will train inexperienced persons also. Personality, good attitude and spirit is more important. Our hours are early morning hours (6 AM) to late evening (730PM). But you will not be working more than eight hours a day. And you may have to work every other Saturday. This is a busy practice, job can be exhaustive mentally and physically.
