Description Robert Half is recruiting for a Membership Records Processor to join a non-profit in Silver Spring, MD!Membership Records Processor, you will play a crucial role in managing the membership dues process for the association. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate membership records, processing dues payments, and providing support to members regarding membership-related inquiries and requests. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service to our members.Key Responsibilities:

Membership Dues Processing: Process membership dues payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely recording and reconciliation of payments received.

Membership Database Management: Maintain the association's membership database, including updating member records, processing new memberships and renewals, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Membership Communications: Assist with membership communications, including sending dues renewal notices, membership welcome emails, and other correspondence as needed.

Member Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for members regarding membership-related inquiries, providing prompt and courteous assistance via email, phone, or in person.

Reporting: Generate reports and provide regular updates on membership dues status, membership retention rates, and other key membership metrics to management and relevant stakeholders.

Event Support: Provide administrative support for association events and activities, including registration assistance, attendee tracking, and onsite support as needed.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments, including membership, finance, and communications, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of membership services.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in the membership dues administration process, and collaborate with team members to implement solutions.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a nonprofit or membership-based organization.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with membership databases or CRM systems.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
