MicroStrategy Developer

Position Description Design, develop, and test enhancements and changes using either COBOL/DB2 or the Go programming language following Agile methodologies. Support system and integration testing of those changes. Support the production environment and any fixes needed to keep production running. Use MicroStrategy to maintain existing reports or create new ones that meet the criteria defined in user stories. Software management and verification for all scheduled and emergency production releases

Your future duties and responsibilities• Must be a good communicator, with strong written and verbal skills• Experience working with Agile methodologies• Ability to work with and understand DB2 Stored Procedures and Cobol Programs• Ability to work with and code using REXX/CLIST programming languages• Ability to code using the Go programming language,• Understand the business requirements for implementation• Create MicroStrategy dashboards, dataset, filters, metrics, understanding the business requirements for implementation.• Responsible for Visual Crossing Map implementation in MicroStrategy Dashboard• Responsible for creating Metrics, Filters, Prompts using MicroStrategy Desktop and Web

Required qualifications to be successful in this role• Must have 10+ years of experience.• Skills needed include GO, MicroStrategy, COBOL, SQL, DB2, JCL, TSO, and ISPF• Knowledge of the CMS healthcare environment, in particular Medicare Part D, is a definite plus• Experience in a CMMI level 3+ environment is also very desirable.• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, GitHub, MySql, PostGres
