Overview:

The Senior Middleware Developer will utilize AG WebMethods Integration Server and related technologies to document and communicate integration designs aligned to business requirements. Responsibilities include source control, bug tracking, use of automated build tools (Jura and Jenkin), and the use of standard object/ relational databases such as Oracle and SQL. Required experience includes knowledge of web services security, Java, and XML

Min/Gen Experience: Ten (10) years of technical and strategic experience of increasing responsibility providing software engineering, planning, design, analysis, and developing complex software models and applications across multiple hardware and software platforms. Demonstrates ability to work independently based on the strategic plan or under general direction. Must be able to effectively employ contemporary project management tools and serve as team consultant.

Must have Middleware experience using webmethods

Minimum Education: Masters or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline. An additional 4 years of SAP ABAP or equivalent COTS experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience presenting briefing to senior customer management and customer stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a program or project manager leading and supervising a multidisciplinary staff of various levels.
  • Demonstrated analytic ability to evaluate programmatic data, resolve inconsistencies and propose solutions to project issues.
  • Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures.
Job Duties:

  • MW development and performance analysis, testing, issue analysis, triage, debugging, job scheduling, execution, monitoring, and issue resolution
  • Coordinate with RFCs, defects management, workflow and PI integration
  • Develop implementation experience in SAP modules such as SAP Financials and SAP Supply
Preferred Skills:

- Federal experience desired (DoD experience preferred)

- Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix

- Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills
