Mobile Configuration Engineer to perform system engineering tasks including but not limited to Microsoft InTune and Work Space One support activities for the purpose of maintaining iOS and Android phones and tablets, application distribution and management, shared device models and related activities. Work location: This position will work 100% on site in Towson, Maryland (MD), for the first few weeks and then may be able to transition to a hybrid work schedule. The current biweekly work from home schedule is 50% - 5 days WFH, 5 days on premises. Exact WFH schedule will be coordinated with management after successful onboarding. Duration: 6 month contract. SYSCOM’s client would like to retain the right to hire at the conclusion of this six month assignment. Duties and Responsibilities- The Mobile Configuration Engineer will manage and architect mobile device management solutions, as well as mobile app deployment, device patching, and mobile LTE plan management.
- Participates with the customer in the strategic design process to identify additional product/service opportunities.
- Responsible for the technical correctness and completeness of integrated systems designs and developing and recommends solutions and strategies, based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing systems infrastructure.
- Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Capitalizes on advanced training and experience to resolve difficult customer problems.
- Identifies structures and delivers services that enable business processes.
- Works with management to ensure all team members have adequate training for assignments.
- Manage customers’ iOS and Android Devices.
- Plan, install, configure, and maintain Mobile Device Management System for customers.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures for customer’s mobile device solution.
- Create Custom Reporting scripts to gather data for reporting as well as creating custom weekly reporting to reflect System Performance. Identify and report Mobility Best Practices of all Mobile Operating Systems.
- Provides technical support, installation and maintenance to ensure the system is functioning according to specifications.
- The Mobile Deployment Engineer works on assignments of an extremely complex nature where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors.
