Mindbank Consulting Group has an immediate opening for a .NET Developer. We are seeking a Software/Systems Engineer/Developer with experience in developing ASP.NET websites and applications. Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining object-oriented, multi-tiered ASP.NET application is required. A key responsibility will be to support the development and operations of .NET (C# and VB.NET)-based applications and components as part of a large enterprise website system with domestic and international users. The following are the required and desired skills in the order of importance.

.NET Developer Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
  • Required: 7-10 years of object oriented software development experience using .NET technologies.
  • Deep understanding of the object-oriented concepts, design patterns, clean coding, and code review practices.
  • Experience with User Interface design using ASP.NET Web Forms and Entity Framework.
  • Experience with JavaScript/JQuery, AJAX, LINQ, XML and HTML/CSS
  • Desirable: Experience in developing interactive custom dashboard solutions for websites.
  • Desirable: Experience in integrating third party ASP.NET GUI widget controls from third party vendors such as - Telerik, Obout, Infragistics, DevXpress etc.
  • Desirable: Working knowledge of classic ASP.
  • Desirable: Database modeling and development in Oracle platform and PL/SQL development.
  • Desirable: Development of webservices and the use of XML technologies.
  • Desirable: Experience with source control systems such as Git and SVN.
  • Candidate should have excellent communications and writing skills. Good written and oral communication skills are critical.
