Computer Network Architect- NAWCAD(NAWCAD-22-0149-W): Bowhead seeks a Computer Network Architect, Journeyman in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Digital Networks & Applications (DNA) Department located at the Naval Air Warfare Center in Patuxent River, MD. The Computer Network Architect designs and implements computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN),intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks. Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures. May also design network and computer security measures. May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software. Enterprise Architecture (EA) support tasking includes: • Define and execute IT policies and architectural standards. • Define and maintain an enterprise architecture. • Analyze the IT Portfolio (including projects, systems, IT workforce, and initiatives), incorporating business requirements. • Link mission needs and IT assets in an effective and efficient manner. • Support the collection of data and documentation to develop and promote IT performance measures and metrics to assess progress in meeting requirements under the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA), Information Technology Management Reform Act (Clinger-Cohen), and other relevant legislation. All job offers in connection with a covered contract will be contingent upon providing proof of vaccination prior to your anticipated start date. • A Journeyman has three (3) to ten (10) years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description and a BA/BS degree. • A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties independently. • An Associate's Degree plus 4 years' of additional experience performing work related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. • Six (6) years' of additional experience performing work related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
