Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a diligent Office Manager in Bethesda, Maryland. This role centers around managing office operations within the telecom industry. You will be responsible for overseeing general office operations, coordinating appointments and meetings, managing staff calendars and schedules, and ensuring maximum productivity. Responsibilities: Oversee general office operations Greet visitors and deliver world-class service Answer a high-volume of incoming phone calls Coordinate appointments, meetings, and manage staff calendars and schedules Supervise, mentor, train, and coach office staff, delegating assignments to ensure maximum productivity Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flight, hotel, and car rental reservations Purchase office supplies and equipment, maintaining proper stock levels Produce reports, compose correspondence, and draft new contracts Create presentations and other management-level reports Use accounting software systems, including Microsoft Excel and Office Suites, to manage office administration tasks Handle accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, and billing functions Deliver excellent customer serviceSkills: Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook Understanding of Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Billing Functions Excellent Customer Service Skills Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Outlook Understanding and execution of Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to handle Billing Functions Excellent Customer Service skills Prior experience in an Office Manager role Strong organizational and management skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of discretion and confidentiality Ability to work independently and in a team Strong problem-solving skills.
