The Project Analyst within the PMO will work to ensure that the assigned projects are utilizing the appropriate resources and are helping to keep the program on the path to success by monitoring cost, schedule, and performance of multiple projects, using tools like Microsoft Office and daily interactions with subject matter experts, customers, and other project analysts. The art of this role will be using exceptional communication skills (both internally and externally) to help drive successful delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Work on multiple project deliverables from conception through completion with a granular focus on deliverables, schedule and project performance to include coordination of resources (internal, vendors, etc.), ensuring that FEI meets all project objectives.
  • Understand the scope of project to help drive the successful coordination of teams responsible for the analysis, design, integration, testing, documentation, and implementation of FEI platforms.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the Project Manager to successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Communicate all deliverable status updates and make recommendations for improvement to program leadership.
  • Analyzes work orders and change requests to determine deliverable requirements, populate compliance matrices, and validate due dates
  • Perform document quality assurance reviews and edit document text for quality, spelling, consistency, overall appearance, layout, and contract requirement compliance
  • Tracks deliverables from inception through approval, coordinating changes requested by the customer, and tracking statuses and following up as appropriate
  • Coordinates/performs layout and formatting of all documents throughout the development and review cycle
  • Ensure consistent delivery of the FEI Project Management deliverables, including, but not limited to:
  • Deliverable Management, Tracking and Reporting
  • Schedule Management, Tracking and Reporting
  • Project and Portfolio Reporting (Status, Financial, etc.)
  • Meeting Management, Tracking and Reporting (including meeting minutes)
  • Performance Measures Management, Tracking and Reporting
  • Business Process Development and Documentation
  • Change Control Management, Tracking and Reporting
  • Project Risk/Issue management, Tracking and Reporting
  • Audit management, Tracking and Reporting
  • Contract compliance, Tracking and Reporting

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree; 4 years of related work experience in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of program or project analyst experience.
  • Project management certification and/or Agile certifications are preferred.
  • Experience working with project management tools and collaboration systems such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server, SharePoint, etc.; Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite of products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting competing deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
