Commercial Software Engineering (CSE) is a global engineering organization that works directly with customers looking to leverage the latest technologies to address their toughest challenges and transform their industries using cloud-based solutions. Within CSE sits the CSE + Industry Solution Customer Journey (ISCJ) Program Management Office (PMO) which provides a centralized process for requesting business and engineering customer facing resources to engage on strategic, complex and business impactful opportunities.CSE sits side-by-side with our customers and partnering Microsoft teams to collaborate, design and implement solutions tailored to solve customer challenges. The ideal candidate is an experienced Technical Program Management Manager that exemplifies the player / coach model to build teams and work in a hands-on way to help the team prioritize, coordinate, and organize both internal and customer resources. This role is responsible for working directly with the team to drive clarity, assist with problem definition and scope, and partner directly with our customers, engineers, and key stakeholders to deliver solutions. This team is accountable for the overall customer journey experience: from technical envisioning through production-scale deployment and working across organizations in an inclusive, collaborative, ONEMICROSOFT way.As the leader of this team and a senior leader in the organization, the ideal candidate will be passionate about developing a culture that ensures that all voices and perspectives are heard and considered. This role will also be highly visible across the organization representing the IS Customer Journey and our mission to meet customers where they are, align and orchestrate resources in service of our customers and outcomes. Provide leadership, insights and coachingto the ISCJ PMO TPM team and tothe Microsoft organizations we partner with as part of the IS Customer Journey

Develop and maintain situational awareness of strategic customers, complex projects andopportunities to define, refine and implementkey learnings

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:10+ years oftechnical program managementexperience, building and shipping apps and/or servicesin a customer facing role

7+ years of people management experience, building, growing, recruiting, and retaining

Preferred Qualifications:Planning and Execution: Ability to think holistically and strategically. Leverage understanding of engineering rhythm so that the team operates at a high level, knowledge is shared appropriately, and decision making happens at the right levels on the team. Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage complex technical projects.You understand the importance of arrivingatWHAT we solve (Design Thinking) as well as HOW we solve it (Agile, DevOps, Lean)
