Vision Technology Services is seeking a

Product Owner to join our team and work directly on client projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for eliciting and interpreting the actual needs of stakeholders, not simply their expressed desires. Work with various groups, i.e., Operations, Compliance, Sales, and Marketing, etc. and determine data and processing needs.
  • Leverages extensive knowledge of life cycle data analysis. Advocates data standards within cross-functional teams to ensure data are regarded as accurate, timely, reliable, and trusted by business collaborators
  • Play a central role in the analysis of the needs of business units, partnering with information technology to deliver on those needs, and may serve as a “translator” between those groups.
  • Ensure that data within eco-system is aligned with external data sources using master data management processes.
  • Acts as a consultant to the business on complex data quality issues. Ensures that data quality monitoring and analyses provided to internal clients and team members are done in a timely manner and are of the highest level of quality.
  • Implements processes and controls for the creation, consumption, assimilation, and/or destruction of data. Contributes to cross-functional projects. Ensures project goals are in line with data management goals.
  • Support product managers(s) in meetings and presentations (e.g., Meeting notes, presentation materials, business reviews / sign-off).
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, with a particular emphasis on partnering with Technology and Sales Strategy and Enablement Teams to execute on functionality builds to support sales reporting priorities, as well as downstream analytics, client engagement, and Salesforce users
  • Leads investigations, analyses, and evaluations to determine data quality enhancement feasibility and implications for data accuracy. Makes recommendations to more senior professionals based on findings.

Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum five years of experience working on CRM data with asset managers providing data management, and sales operations.
  • Data Management experience supporting asset management data domains such as client services, distribution, and marketing is preferred.
  • Experience working on complex data ecosystem. Experience in data governance, data quality, master data management tools required.
  • Salesforce Certifications and SQL Knowledge is plus but not required.
  • Exposure working with Informatica Master Data Management is plus but not required.
  • Thoughtful process of analyzing data and problem-solving skills to reach a well-reasoned solution.
  • High sense of urgency and follow through. Partnering effectively to execute on common goals.
  • Superb communication skills to explain big story around various data scenarios and drive common understanding of problem in hand along with the proposed solution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build the trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialog and interactions, and collaborate well with others internally and externally.
  • Ability to draw own conclusions, articulate positions, communicate key messages, make recommendations, and influence in a team.
