The Production Support Analyst will work in Enterprise Support Services and shares in the responsibility for the day-to-day support of internal and external applications including vendor integrated solutions and data feeds. This position is responsible for the timely resolution of system issues which impacts client accessibility, and the effectiveness of business units in performing their essential functions.The PSA also will:Participate in re-platforming and re-engineering efforts essential to ongoing system support, staying abreast of business and technological changes.Document requirements due to re-engineering of applications, translates into functional and/or technical specifications, writes and executes test cases and plans, oversees the testing process, and maintains vendor relationships for implementation and issue resolution when necessary.Act a team leader for application management projects, or a portion of a project, with small budgets of a short duration including but not limited to end of life activities, decommissioning tasks and vulnerability remediation.System responsibilities may include:Applications Used in Servicing External CustomersInternal associate applications,Trading and Financial systemsApplications utilizing AWS managed servicesMonitoring and restoration of service related to supported applications and supporting system infrastructure.Additional Job Details:Adaptable and able to learn quicklyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong troubleshooting/problem solving skillsAbility to function independently, as well as in a team environmentDriven to provide a high level of customer service and to reduce ongoing costsInitiative, motivation, responsibility, accountabilityAbility to effectively and efficiently handle multiple tasksSound judgment and decision-making skillsExperience with relational databases, especially Oracle and DB2Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) v6 and v7Experience with Microsoft ServerExperience with Unix Operating Systems such as Solaris, AIXExperience with scripting languages such as Perl and C/K-ShellNetworking experience preferredAWS Certification preferredServiceNow experience is preferred.Experience with vendor hosted applications preferred.Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, CloudWatch and Splunk preferredThe interview process will include an initial telephone or Zoom screening.Please let us know your interest for this position.
