Program Controls Scheduling ManagerAECOM is seeking a Program Controls Mid-Level Scheduling Specialist to be based in our Baltimore, MD office with a strong background in construction planning, utility coordination and force account management to support the B&P Tunnel Replacement (BPTR) Program among other project opportunities available at AECOM.AECOM is the delivery partner for Amtrak on the BPTR Program that will upgrade a ten-mile section of the Northeast Corridor (NEC), America’s busiest passenger rail line. The delivery partner team is responsible for supporting Amtrak with overseeing the full breadth of the program. The scope of services includes program management, design oversight, construction oversight, commissioning oversight, program controls, and commercial and capacity building.  The Program will also include delivery of new roadway and railroad bridges, new rail systems and track, and a new ADA-accessible West Baltimore MARC station.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with detailed scheduling, coordination of utility and force account work, and supporting multi-project integration. This role contributes to schedule analysis, risk identification, reporting, and continuous improvement of scheduling processes throughout the project lifecycle—from early planning through construction and closeout.The responsibilities of the Scheduling Specialist include the following: Supports analysis of schedule, identifies and investigates project schedule variances.Collects and updates data and updates and produces scheduling reports.Assists in the development and maintenance of WBS and support activities to implement applicable coding. Supports basic schedule development.Supports gathering and assembling data for master schedule updating.Supports measurement of project schedule progress and gathers and assembles data for schedule and network updating.Gathers data for schedule baseline development and maintenance.Supports monthly report preparation.Participate in planning and scheduling meetings to gain insight to planning and scheduling issues.Develops and maintains program schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of various typesMonitors and actively participates in project and program scheduling issues while administering best practices and standardsObtains accurate and timely program schedule updates from project teams and performs QA/QC on information receivedCreates and develops conceptual what-if schedules for multiple project types including large complex multi-year projectsPrepares ad-hoc reports and analyses as directed by managementUnderstands CPM scheduling concepts and principles and able to develop basic engineering, procurement and construction logic.
