Job Summary/Company:

A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a Project Manager who can drive the end-to-end delivery of consumer-facing projects. You will be the guardian of the customer experience, guiding the implementation of solution from delivery, to go-live, and support. This is a hybrid position; candidate needs to be commutable to Ft. Lee/Richmond area 2 weeks a month.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects with detailed project plans; drive the documentation & proactive communication of goals, status, issues, etc.
  • Develop mitigation plans to reduce risks
  • Work with internal and external resources to ensure issues are resolved to client's satisfaction
  • Manage ITM implementation and deployment schedule; establish relationship and expertise for the client during the implementation as well as 1st tier escalation point for the internal resources on the project
  • Schedule, install, validate, and deliver products within schedule and within the desired quality
  • Support projects during the client's time zone/business hours and some limited cases outside business hours
  • Train junior team members as necessary

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of project management and/or other related management experience
  • Demonstrated cross-functional, end-to-end project management experience for new initiatives, requiring engagement with business and functional group leaders
  • Demonstrated ability managing a technical project
  • Experience using structured project management methods and tools
  • Work Status: due to government requirements, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
  • Clearance Type: active clearance required
  • Certifications: must be PMP Certified
  • COVID-19 vaccine: must be fully vaccinated
  • Travel: ability to travel as needed; up to 25% travel
