IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to organize and coordinate projects in Woodlawn, MD. You will lead and oversee multiple, concurrent projects in support of our customer. Duties include planning, organizing, managing, coordinating, and tracking multiple competency areas, customer satisfaction, reporting, overall delivery, as well as project artifact administration. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and have initiative and exceptional communication skills to produce results on schedule and develop efficient strategies and tactics to ensure that all projects deliver the desirable outcome to our customer. What you’ll be doing

Serve as point person for multiple initiatives in support of an infrastructure team, including fielding questions, addressing concerns, and discussing project status

Have situational awareness of your team member’s workloads, keeping open lines of communication with staff to help with challenges, maintain engagement, and provide support

Maintain a project plan and track timelines and milestones

Address issues and resolve challenges as necessary

Ensure timely submission of project deliverables

Assist with monthly reporting and records management, including drafts, edits, and peer review

Manage project team mailboxes and distribute emails to the team as needed

Provide input to Meeting Agendas

Provide cross-training to other team members and customers

Offer feedback or suggestions for process improvement

Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager or other lead position

Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods

BSc/BA degree in management or a relevant IT field; MSc/MA is a plus

CSM, SAFe, and PMP certification strongly preferred

8+ years managing, consulting, business analyst, or similar experience

Demonstrated experience interfacing with clients, technical SMEs, and other project team members to establish, monitor, and perform against requirements and deliverables

Must be able to obtain and maintain an MBI Public Trust Clearance

Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Planner, SharePoint, etc.) is a strong advantage

Outstanding leadership and organizational skills

Excellent communication skills with confidence to provide written and verbal updates to executives/management/staff on a project

Excellent problem-solving ability

Knowledge to develop a project plan, gather project information, and establish project timelines/milestones

Experience providing live training and training documents that may be needed for their project
