Location: Rockville, MD (This position is a hybrid work schedule to work onsite at our corporate office in Rockville, Maryland with some telework available)

Pay: $90,000 - $100,000Mindbank Consulting Group has an immediate opening for a Project Manager / IT Manager. The Project Manager / IT Manager is responsible for ensuring IT projects are completed on time and on budget. The Project Manager / IT Manager will communicate with Stakeholders during all phases of the project.

Project Manager / IT Manager Responsibilities:
  • Assist with writing and budgeting for IT activities associated with projects.
  • Setting project goals and developing plans to meet those goals.
  • Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates, forecasts and status reports.
  • Managing resources for projects and developing schedules and individual responsibilities for team members.
  • Keep up to date on current and emerging technologies and best IT practices.
  • Using project management tools to track project performance.
  • Conducting risk assessments for projects.
  • Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress.

Project Manager / IT Manager Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree or 5 years related experience.
  • Experience utilizing project management software.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management reporting, project documentation (requirements, specifications, design documents).
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively with senior IT and business leaders.
  • Demonstrated organizational proficiency, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a team environment.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
