Remote with potential for occasional meetings in the Baltimore, Maryland office location. The Python Developer's responsibilities will include: Build code using server-side logic Develop in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud application environment and technology stack Build highly responsive web based PMM application components that align with business needs Write effective, scalable code Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall application performance Integrate user-facing elements into applications Test and debug programs Implement security and data protection for the application Coordinate with internal teams to understand business requirements Ensure high performance of PMM application functionality and provide support to address performance and stress testing issues Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and resolve defects Follow automated continuous delivery and deployment practices Adhere to application architecture design guidelines, patterns and standards Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar General Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in at least two of the following disciplines: systems analysis, systems programming, application programming, and equipment analysis. At least one (1) year of experience developing applications using advanced technologies, such as Internet protocols or web-based technology. Technologies include HTML, CGI applications, PERL or Javascript, and Java. Strong problem-solving skills Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5) Specialized Experience: At least three (3) years of' experience as a Python Developer Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or Pyramid) Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM) Experience working in AWS or cloud computing environment Experience in building distributed multi-tier applications Experience in continuous integration (CI) and automated deployment on AWS cloud platforms Understanding of full-stack development Experience with the SDLC and agile methodologies
