Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.The Quality Assurance Department is responsible for ensuring the entire facility and the studies conducted are in compliance with EPA and FDA regulations. This position provides the opportunity to learn all aspects of Ecotoxicity testing; from study design, to study conduct, from data collection to data analysis, and regulatory expectations throughout the process. From Avian, Aquatic, Plant, and Invertebrate studies to Environmental Fate, Biodegradation, and Chemistry, the large variety of studies conducted provides a unique window in to the world ecotoxicity testing.Quality Assurance Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Audits protocols, procedures, data, reports, and other documentation for accuracy, consistency, and conformance with GLP regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.
Prepares, issues, and tracks reports of observations noted during audits and inspections. Reviews and evaluates addressed deficiencies for clarity, completeness, correctness, and potential impact on compliance status.
Performs facility inspections.
Performs phase inspections of ongoing studies.
The ideal candidate would possess:
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration,
GLP/GMP/GCP/GxP audit experience desired but not required
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
