Job Title: Receptionist / Corporate SupportLocation: Columbia, MDJob Type : Full-Time with Sparksoft

Job Summary:Sparksoft is looking for a person to join our facilities team to work at our front desk at the Columbia headquarters location. This role operates in our facilities operations for front desk duties, as well as facility upkeep and event coordination.

Responsibilities:Serves visitors and vendors (including cleaning, maintenance, contractors, etc.) by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.Answers the main phone line and forwards/screens calls.Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Supports Corporate Functions as needed (purchasing, company parties, quarterly meetings, etc.)Supports financial team (invoice/receipt management, etc.)Contributes to Facility team effort by accomplishing related results as needed (to include but not limited to following up with vendors, completing supply orders for other facilities, etc.)Manages stock for break rooms (coffee, tea, ensure overall cleanliness and sanitation, etc.)Supports facilities functions as needed, badge photo taking, etc.Maintains confidentiality of corporate information.Ability to provide flexible working hours to help support corporate needs.To include other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:University/college degree is an assetFamiliarity with phone systemsExperience with basic office equipment (to include scanners, copiers, etc.)Previous experience with Microsoft Office software preferred
