Your nutritional know-how can help residents in your community live happier, healthier lives.Sodexo is seeking a full time Registered Dietitian 2 for Carroll Lutheran Village, a Lutheran Social Ministries continuing care retirement community (CCRC) located in Westminster, Maryland. Our community is dedicated to person-centered care. This community offers an indoor saltwater pool and gym open to all employees, plus free meals and parking!As a not-for-profit organization, Lutheran Social Ministries of Maryland operates two continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) and provides senior services in the wider community. We are recognized for our strong commitment to providing the best possible life for all residents. We partner with many community and educational organizations that share our passion for service and support for older adults.The successful candidate will:

provide nutritional care to the long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients;

conduct quality improvement initiatives such as test trays and meal rounds;

hold nutrition events for Independent Living residents;

meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;

be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences;

represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and/or

support the food service operation as needed.

a Registered Dietitian credential and are licensed in MD;

strong verbal and written communication skills;

strong leadership skills;

the ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff; and/or
