Remote Systems Integration Engineer Must be US Citizen per client request Contract to hire role Responsibilities:

Participate in the design, development, analysis, and implementation of software application programs

Assist in analyzing system architecture requirements; perform requirements acquisition and definition and data analysis

Perform technical and subject matter research on emerging technologies to determine impacts on application execution; analyzes and documents client needs and requirements

Responsible to research and make recommendations to ensure effective integration of new and upgraded applications with existing business systems and processes

Experience with thought leadership and has expertise with common enterprise architecture frameworks

Demonstrate experience performing technology evaluations to gauge relevancy, competency, and capability with regards to satisfying business goals and objectives

Plans, designs, and implements the integration process to include creating documentation for the process so that future engineers know how to solve potential issues

Responsible for test plan specifications and working with teams through analysis and design of the solution(s) to be integrated

Experience performing as an Systems Integrator with responsibility for overseeing, improving, and upgrading enterprise services, software, and hardware

Experience driving discussions with senior government personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation

Demonstrate ability to collaborate with stakeholders and business owners to provide guidance and recommendations on improving IT infrastructure

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and experience

Minimum of 7 (7) years of experience within the disciplines of Systems Integration/Engineering/Administration

Minimum of Five (5) years of experience within a large enterprise, preferably with Federal Government experience (to include installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting)

Ability to maintain deep technical knowledge within areas of expertise

Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience, including non-technical groups

Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills, collaboration, and negotiation skills

Familiarity with ITIL or another IT service management framework
