Research Associate for a leading nanotechnology company in

Gaithersburg, MD. The Research Associate will support the R&D Membrane Department with evaluating polymeric and biomimetic membranes. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career supporting research & development.

Responsibilities of the Research Associate:

Fabricate and evaluate polymeric and biomimetic membranes to develop novel filtration membranes
Implement quality control measures and develop SOPs
Support pilot-scale production of novel membranes
Compile findings and present conclusions to team members

Requirements of the Research Associate:

Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
2+ years of experience in an industrial research laboratory conducting analytical techniques such as HPLC, UV-Vis, GPC, FTIR, DLS
Knowledge of membrane and/or surface coating chemistry, membrane and/or thin film fabrication techniques
Must be eligible to work in the US
