Position: Robotic Process Automation Developer

Location: Columbia, MD (Hybrid)

Duration: Long-term Contract

Description:

RPA Developer ensures the delivery of technology-specific customized automation solutions including all work necessary through completion by providing system engineering, solution design, development, integration, test, deployment and operations and maintenance of automation solutions which meet user standards and requirements. Deliver the depth and breadth of application development services needed to develop new automation solutions and sustain or enhance legacy applications that provide tools, capabilities, and services.

Essential job functions:

Providing a superior level of experience and knowledge of RPA solution and associated methodology to support colleagues (developers) through all phases of the RPA delivery lifecycle and Accreditation Program.
Mentoring colleagues through the RPA solution development and support lifecycle
Identifying new process opportunities and accurately analyzing and estimating new processes, quickly assessing feasibility.
Analyzing, understanding and documenting the business processes in detail where required.
Identifying and communicating the technical infrastructure requirements.
Designing RPA process solutions in accordance with standard RPA design principles and conventions.
Be extremely comfortable with managing tasks and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
Feel comfortable working in ambiguous situations and brainstorming for effective solutions to business problems
Demonstrate automations to customers, support training, and provide operational support.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of automations and troubleshoot as needed.
Develop prototypes to demonstrate creative ways of applying automation tools

Required Skills/Experience/Education:

2+ years of experience developing and maintaining RPA solution using UiPath or other RPA tools
1-3 years’ experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, HTML
ServiceNow RPA experience as a plus
Experience in scheduling and debugging using RPA tool scheduler or command center
Experience with GitHub source code management and working in an Agile environment
Must be Certified UiPath RPA Associate, or UiPath Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) certification preferred
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust Security Clearance
Ability to articulate in simple words technical explanations and guide the business in the RPA journey
Ability to communicate clearly and well in written and oral form
Ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment, Work under tight deadlines
Knowledge of Agile software development lifecycle, including experience of applying change control procedures and disciplines required
Problem solving with strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex
requirements and define technical/functional advanced solutions
