RPA / Robotic Process Automation Systems ArchitectLocationBaltimore, MD 21202Duration+ 1 year Description/Role The Client, an independent unit of state government, provides accessible, affordable health coverage to Marylanders. client is responsible for the administration of Maryland Health Connection (MHC), the state’s health insurance marketplace. Through MHC, Maryland residents explore health insurance plans, compare rates, and determine their eligibility for advanced premium tax credits (APTC), cost sharing reductions (CSR) and public assistance programs such as Medicaid and the Maryland Children’s Health Insurance Program (MCHP). Client seeks one (1) Senior Systems Architect to provide systems architecture services related to implementing, enhancing and maintaining the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) functions for the client and related systems. Duties and Responsibilities:- Develop systems, infrastructure, database, and data models to build enterprise system architectures.
- Develop and implement plans for migrating system architectures.
- Develop technical reference models to include hardware and software standards.
- Plan, design, develop, integrate, and administer Robotic Process Automation (RPA) infrastructure for the Exchange.
- Provide expert support on RPA architecture and design capabilities.
- Implement integrated software, hardware, cloud and mobile solutions to meet HBX system requirements.
- Provide direction to the team members in implementing RPA coding strategies, system development processes, architectural planning, system integration testing and implementation.
- Monitor manufacturer updates, review customer/agency feedback to identify opportunities for enhancements and accelerate development for roadmap.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of system architecture, provide innovative code development approaches, supports programming, database development and application integration efforts.
- Provide direction and support for all system testing efforts including unit testing, load testing, end-to-end testing, validation testing and user acceptance testing.
- Work with developers to define, build consensus around, and implement enterprise system and application architecture to ensure performance, scalability, maintainability, extensibility, and application integration with external systems.
- Ensure that client RPA systems are compliant with current legislation, state, federal, CMS, and IRS policies and regulations.
- Recommend RPA governance and best practices.
- Adhere to all security, change control and client Project Management Office (PMO) policies, processes and methodologies.
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience with architecting large scale enterprise solutions.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in design, development, testing and implementation of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) solutions.
- A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in UiPath AI/ML document extraction, Bot development, and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with UiPath and/or other RPA tool sets.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience with PostgreSQL/SQL databases and establishing data warehouses or data integration solutions.
- Prior experience with building Web Service enabled applications (SOAP and RESTful).
- Prior experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Struts, Hibernate.
- Prior experience with ETL tools, such as Informatica.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in architecting complex enterprise systems performing all aspects of system architecture.
- A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated information technology experience in application development, DevOps engineering, and systems architecture.
- A minimum of four (4) years of RPA solutioning experience working with the business and technology stakeholders eliciting policy/operational requirements and implementing robust RPA technology solutions.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience with providing enterprise database solutions and data warehouse management.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Systems Architect or as a Solutions Expert developing and/or supporting federal or state-based marketplaces, or in the health and human services domains.
- A technical RPA certification such as UiPath Advanced RPA Developer or equivalent.
- Certifications in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
