- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Salesforce.com development methodologies, provide innovative solutions, and perform programming, database development, and application integration efforts.
- Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications in Salesforce.com, including developing Apex Triggers, Visualforce Pages, and Apex Classes.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Salesforce CRM application and various integrated solutions.
- Integrate Salesforce applications, including Salesforce CRM, with various solutions not limited to Health Benefit Exchange (HBX) solution and other ancillary systems using Salesforce APIs.
- Participate in system testing efforts, including unit testing, functional testing, end-to-end testing, validation testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop enterprise-grade solutions, applications, reports, and dashboards, ensuring performance, scalability, maintainability, extensibility, and application integration with external systems.
- Create Packages to deploy code from Sandbox to the production environment; troubleshoot all code-related issues in the production environment.
- Develop Apex Triggers, Visualforce pages, and Apex Classes.
- Interface with business, and IT teams to understand and translate business needs into formal technical requirements and application code.
- Develop and execute quality unit tests and integration plans/scripts to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.
- Work with business teams to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testing.
- Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development.
- Adhere to all security, change control, and MHBE Project Management Office (PMO) policies, processes, and methodologies.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Salesforce.com applications development and implementation.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience using Apex Classes / Controllers, Apex Triggers, SOQL, SOSL, Visual Force Page/Components, Test Classes, schedule jobs, batch jobs, and email services.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience with Workflow and Approvals, Dashboards, Analytic Snapshots, Custom Objects, and Custom Settings, Reports, and Validation rules.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience with Salesforce Integration using Salesforce APIs and Middleware.
- A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Service Cloud implementation.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in packaging and deploying applications, deploying meta-data between environments using ANT and change sets.
- Experience translating business requirements to technical specifications and working with the development team.
- Experience integrating external applications with Salesforce using REST/SOAP.
- Hands-on experience with Force.com, IDE, Eclipse IDE Plug-in, Force.com Explorer, Data Loader, and Sublime.
- Knowledge of Agile software development practices.
- Proven strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various technical teams, business users, managers, and other non-technical staff.
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience developing enterprise-grade large-scale Salesforce solutions.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience working on Service Cloud, Force.com, Chatter, and App-exchange applications.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience enhancing or maintaining Salesforce CRM solutions.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience developing complex custom reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com Partner and Customer communities.
- Knowledge of AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Highcharts, and Web Service APIs.
- Working knowledge of build and deployment processes and code push to production environments.
- Experience developing complex integrated Salesforce applications and services supporting health insurance marketplaces, healthcare, and/or health and human services domains.
- General web development experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other databases and SQL Scripts or Stored Procedures.
- Experience working with large data sets and bulkification.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Salesforce Developer, Advanced Developer, and/or Service Cloud certifications.
- Experience working with the Project Management Office (PMO) processes, policies, and procedures.
