A client of Insight Global is looking for a Secret Network Administrator to sit out of Aberdeen, MD in support of a large government contract. Additional duties will include:
Oversee day-to-day information system security operations including hardware and software implementations. Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices outlined in the security plan. Ensure all information system security-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals. Ensure records are maintained for workstations, software, servers, routers, firewalls, network switches, telephony equipment, etc. throughout the information system's life cycle. Implement network site surveys, network design and optimization, and network installation/cutover (to include fiber and Cat5 termination). Provide technical oversight of a multi-site enterprise level WAN, including planning, implementation/expansion, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Design, deploy, and administer local network testing infrastructure that include switches, routers, firewalls, and client workstations (Windows, Linux/RPi, MacOS) based on project requirements and needs. Experience with DoD/military is preferredExperience working in research labVerified Active Secret Clearance Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field3-5 years of experience in relevant competencies showing demonstrated increased responsibilities and successes.
