We are seeking a highly motivated Security Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to think strategically and be innovative while working in an agile and collaborative team-oriented environment. The candidate must be comfortable working with analysts, developers, DevOps, and architects across multiple teams to collaboratively design creative solutions to complex problems. The candidate will support in proactively ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, stability, scalability, and performance. Must have intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn new skills and technologies along with an excellent work ethic and great communication skills.

Primary Position Objective:

As a Senior Systems Security Analyst, you will support GEICO's Cybersecurity Identity initiatives as they relate to the user account lifecycle management and network resource access. This will include requirements, development, and working with Analysts to document requirements and test code changes to the Identity Management system. Responsibilities also will include governance related tasks including but not limited to; audit user's' continued need for network resources and remote access, ongoing certification/monitoring of access, provisioning administrative accounts for Active Directory (AD) and Mainframe RACF, and supporting compliance initiatives. This position will also assist users in navigating the approval process for access to resources governed through AD, Mainframe RACF and Remote VPN access. The person selected for this position will also work with the team to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Controls, SANS CSC 16 controls, Payment Card Industry Compliance Requirements, ISO 27001 Controls as it relates to user access. This position will also include on-call duties, with the possibility of supporting outages or access issues outside of normal business hours and supporting weekend application releases.

Job Duties:
  • As part of governance team, ensure that access is appropriately handled when all identity lifecycle events occur.
  • Assist team in operational work related to processing of ARC requests, access reviews, Remedy tickets etc
  • Assist in Compliance (including SOX, PCI, and ISO 27001) related access audits
  • Drive team's development and implementation efforts related to current ARC system and future enhancements in system.
  • Perform and guide User Testing of current and future Identity products
  • Drive requirements analysis and standardize development process amongst the Identity teams.
  • Partner with GEICO's internal and external application teams in gathering meaningful requirements and bring them to the development process.

Required Skills:
  • Experience and understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts
  • Expertise in defining and developing requirements
  • Prior implementation experience, preferably strong development and/or engineering background
  • Experience and understanding of broad IAM concepts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledgeable on key IAM concepts (Identity Lifecycle, Roles, SOD, workflow development, birthright access, privilege access etc.)
  • Development of use cases/test cases, participation in SIT/UAT testing
  • Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills
  • Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, professional oral or written manner, to be understood by customers
  • Ability to operate independently to provide domain area functional and technology expertise
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred:
  • Security + or CySA+ certification is a plus.
