PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project includes milling and overlaying the existing 7,300 square yard terminal transient aircraft parking apron, as well as the demolition of the existing connector taxiway and the construction of a new connector taxiway (approximately 600 square yards) and associated edge lighting to avoid the possibility for aircraft leaving the transient apron and taxiing directly onto the runway. The finished pavement surface will be striped with new surface painted markings to allow for the safe maneuvering of aircraft in this area and a slurry seal will be applied to the finished pavement surface in aircraft parking and fueling areas to help prevent damage to the pavement.
