Job Title: Senior Automation TesterLocation: Columbia,MDDuration: Long Term with Sparksoft.Job Summary/Responsibilities:
- Work as part of an agile development team performing test planning, test execution, and test reporting tasks for each sprint
- Participate in requirements and design walkthroughs, collaborative internal and external test planning sessions
- Hands automation experience using any of the tools/frameworks like SoapUI, Selenium, TestNG, Junit etc
- Ability to Lead the team, strong technical experience on understanding and resolving issues
- Develop Ready API projects for verifying the functionality of the web service
- Experience in implementing end-to-end automation and support automation assessments
- Implement automation frameworks and approaches
- Attend/co-ordinate meetings with internal/external stake holders for test interdependency and release schedules
- Identify and analyze suitable opportunities for test automation
- Maintain, streamline, standardize and implemented a CI/CD pipeline on AWS involving tools like JIRA, Jenkins, Eclipse and Ready API
- Configure CI for end-to-end automation for all build, unit, integration tests and deployment
- Design, configure, and test AWS infrastructure across various technical areas
- Stay up to date with the cloud and keep track of application performance
- Evaluate requirements and develop scripts in the AWS cloud environment
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specification documents to develop test cases, test scenarios and expected results
- Develop and maintain test scripts, test data and test summary reports
- Perform peer review of test cases and test scenarios developed by members of the test team
- Assist in analyzing and triaging discovered during testing.
- Capture test evidence files and document test results
- Review work products and deliverables
- Understanding of the traditional infrastructure stack & application thereto in AWS
- Knowledge or experience in VPC Peering/Subnetting, proxy server management, automated failover approaches using AWS services (e.g. Lambda, CloudWatch)
- 3 years of experience in Test Automation including planning, script development & maintenance
- Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in one or more of the following testing toolsets/frameworks: SmartBear Ready!API, soapUI Pro, Eclipse, Selenium WebDriver, jUnit, TestNG
- Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: Java / J2EE. Groovy, Python, Ruby, XML, JSON, REST
- Demonstrated experience with Continuous Integration, including build/deploy/version control tools like Jenkins
- AWS Certification: DevOps Engineer/Cloud Practitioner
- Experience with Web service testing and designing Ready API projects with Groovy
- Proficient in an Agile environment working with other members of different technical teams
- Experience with automated testing tools like soapUI, Ready API, Selenium and Katalon
- Prior experience working with CMS or testing complex healthcare systems
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and databases (MySQL, AWS Aurora, etc.)
- 2-3 years of experience working within AWS
- 2 -3 years of provisioning AWS virtual infrastructure experience
- 2 -3 years of JSON/REST/XML Cloud Formation scripting experience
