Our well known direct client is hiring for an experienced C#.NET Developer to build our client's next generation services platform. Build amazingly powerful and intuitive applications for internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of hands-on full-stack development experience with C# and JavaScript. Additionally, they want this person to have prior experience working with cloud technologies and developing apps to cloud environments such as Azure and AWS. This will be a fully remote position following an EST schedule. This role is starting as a 6-month contract to hire opportunity. Our client is also committed in implementing a solid Agile/SCRUM foundation to their development practices. Ideally, this candidate will have a key role in teaching and mentoring other team members in Agile and other best practices Does this sound like something you'd like to hear more about? If so, APPLY NOW!Essential Skills:o 8 + years of hands-on full stack development experience. o Experience with C#, JavaScript, relational/non-relational databases. o Experience with Cloud technologies and developing apps using Azure and/or AWS. o Experience writing clean and well tested code. o Proficient with solid design principles, API design/consumption and systems design. o Technical troubleshooting, diagnosing and problem-solving skills o Ability to learn new skills, adapt to new situations, and work on multiple assignments simultaneously. o Experience working in Agile/remote/CI/CD environment. o Positive Attitude and comfortable doing presentations to Sr. Management. o Bachelor's in computer science, Computer Engineering, or any relevant field. o Experience with React.js, .NET Core; Cosmos DB, SQL, Azure Service Bus. Plusses:o Experience in the Insurance Industry. o Recent experience with JavaScript (Node, React etc.) frameworks. o Experience with data driven frameworks. o Experience designing and developing re-usable libraries in .NET o Experience with Azure or AWS AI services o Experience working in a Scaled Agile environment o Experience with Analytics and Reporting using Adobe, Google, Quantum etc. o Familiarity with ADO, Postman, Fiddler, Splunk, Azure App Insights, Cosmos, AKS. o Master's degree in computer science or any relevant field is a plus.
