Senior Cloud-Native Developer

M9 Solutions is seeking a

• Work closely with stakeholders by translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement user-friendly, resilient solutions, optimized for use by a large enterprise organization.
• Update and maintain system-level documentation, ensuring its accuracy on an ongoing basis.
• Provide innovative solutions to ensure that the selected architecture scales in an Agile fashion.
• Perform work without need for direct supervision.
• Function in project leadership roles and represent company as the prime customer contact on significant technical matters.

• Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to pass a background investigation for a Public Trust level clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• 10+ years of overall experience performing Cloud systems engineering.
• 10+ years of experience with Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar) and/or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experienced in Cloud-native principles.
• Experienced in designing and building microservices.
• Experienced in containerization and orchestration tools for consistent and easy deployments.
• Experienced in Infrastructure as Code tools for building reliable and repeatable environments.
• Proficient in working with relational database management systems and large data sets.
• Have a passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well.
• Strong desire to learn, communicate, and share knowledge with others.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience architecting and implementing complex solutions from infrastructure to application level.

• Experience in any of the following technologies:
  • .NET.
  • PostgreSQL.
  • Amazon Relational Database Service.
  • Amazon Aurora.
  • NoSQL/MongoDB/DynamoDB.
  • Elastic Stack/OpenSearch.
  • Docker/AWS Fargate.
  • Kubernetes/Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud.
  • Terraform/CloudFormation.
  • Python.

• Salary Range: $60,000/year - $180,000/year
• M9 Solutions' pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the position, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, location, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
