Who You Are You re a strong problem solver who loves digging into the details to fully understand what is going on. You have fixed a lot of problems, so you know how sort out what is meaningful and what is not to be as efficient as possible. You have run DOE s and done the statistics to make well informed decisions. You like getting your hands dirty and want to be the one disassembling a problem to find out what is broken and how to fix it. You also have: Qualifications:

• BSCPE or BSEE degree from an accredited university (or equivalent)
• 8+ years experience with analog and digital circuit design and prototyping.
• Experience with basic circuit design such as; power supply, motor control, microcontroller interface, RF etc.
• Experience with basic electronic components including MOSFETs, Op-Amps, Analog Sensing circuits, LED driver, etc
• Experience with PCB Design and Layout
• Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital circuits using industry standard tools (Oscilloscope, ICD, DMM, etc.)
• Ability to generate and evaluate creative ideas and inspire others to do so
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence the organization and to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Ability to interface with overseas electronic contract manufacturers and provide technical direction to obtain quality electronics assemblies for tool production.
• Ability to manage several concurrent projects
• General knowledge/experience with power tools and hand tools
• Ability to rapidly integrate Mechanical, Electrical, and Software subsystems in support of Rapid Prototyping
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on fabrication skills a strong plus

• Design and lead development of prototypes of new and innovative products
• Develop solutions for electronic system related issues as an integral member of a larger team.
• Maintain appropriate documentation for work performed.
• Translate internal customer requirements into specifications.
• Embrace cross functional teamwork.
• Research emerging technologies and incorporate them into new designs as appropriate
• Attend and participate in hardware and firmware design reviews
• Provide creative ideas and innovation to work processes
