PURPOSE:Understands systems, processes and people; Develops and implements client solutions by applying known methodologies and best business practices; Maintains data and configurations within Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP); Has experience with reporting tools and financial statements generation; Identifies needs and conducts end user training to support regulatory compliance and reduce system support cost. Provides guidance and shares knowledge with less experienced team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Works in collaboration with IT to identify, prioritize, develop, test and deploy system improvements. Conducts user testing
  • Understands ERP system architecture and configuration
  • Provides help desk support, investigates and resolves operational issues by utilizing various methods such as root cause analysis; general financial and accounting principles; ERP architecture and data knowledge.Communicates with software vendors to submit production issues and determines escalation. Works with vendor to research and resolve the system or user issue.
  • Creates test case scenarios to be used in testing; monitors/oversees the testing of business applications to verify that all requirements are incorporated into the system design.
  • Plans and designs cross-functional business processes and system modifications. Makes recommendations to improve and support business activities. Create and maintain queries as requested to aid in compliance and data collection/review.
  • Gathers business requirements through a variety of techniques such as work sessions and interviews. Analyzes and documents client business requirements and processes; communicates these requirements to appropriate parties.
  • Supports the month and year end close processes; Modifies and develops new financial reports and analyses as requested by the business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree.In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Experience: 5 years Progressive experience in a ERP support role with implementation duties.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience withOracle EBS (Financials) R12 or Cloud Financials with one or more of the following GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Projects, EPM or EDM.
