Senior GIS programmer to perform application development, ETL development, and dash-boarding in support of our client’s GIS Program related to Health and Human Services. The programmer will assist in the development and maintenance of GIS web-based applications, ETL’s, dashboards, and Hub Sites in support of health based data and applications. Work Location: Hybrid position, approximately 50% onsite at client location in Towson, MD 21204 and 50% of the time work from home. Note, upon hire the candidate will spend 100% of the time onsite in Towson for onboarding and then the role will transition to hybrid. Duration: 6-month contract with the possibility of contract extension(s). Duties and Responsibilities- Develops GIS applications using the ESRI based technologies
- Assists in GIS Systems analysis in support of business requirements
- Develops GIS and non-GIS based ETL processes based on established requirements
- Develops ArcGIS server web application development and maintenance
- Development of Hub sites and related content
- Development of ArcGIS Dashboards and reports
- Minimum of five (5) years developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript,HTML, C#, Python, Model Building.
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS API’s, ArcGIS JavaScript API, ArcGIS Web App Builder, Collector, ArcSDE, Model Builder, and ArcGIS Mobile.
- Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder, Python, and FME
- Strong Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Triggers, and Stored Procedures.
- Developing reports using SSRS, Power BI, ArcGIS Insights, Experience Builder
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and concepts (Oracle, SQL Server preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to provide at least two (2) professional references, including phone numbers, where the candidate performed similar duties as requested above.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to work onsite in Towson, MD 21204 for approximately 50% of the time (note, upon hire candidate will work onsite 100% of the time until onboarding is complete).
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field and five years’ experience in systems analysis, change management analysis, project management, program analysis, or a closely related field.
