This accounting professional and experienced leader will have a successful track record in building and leading high-performing teams, as well as developing and executing rigorous processes that ensure accurate and timely reporting of key financial data. We are looking for a leader with exceptional communication skills and the proven ability to devise creative solutions to challenging problems that require collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including finance, accounting, sales operations, and IT, in a dynamic and fast paced environment. In addition, the successful candidate will have the leadership and mentorship skills to lead a diverse and global team of experienced professionals, and be able to innovate, create, implement, and manage operational and process improvements to increase efficiency and support scale.We need a person with extensive knowledge and experience in accounting and how revenue works within an organization, who can execute on tight deadlines and under pressure. This role is a fantastic fit for candidates looking to transition from public accounting roles to leadership in business operations at a large publicly-traded company, as the role requires both accounting skills and general business acumen.Your Impact
Directly lead and manage the team responsible for the execution, processes, and systems related to order management, billing, and revenue recognition for Unit 42
Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly billing and financial reporting are accurate and timely
Assist the organization with designing and implementing internal controls over financial reporting
Lead efforts to document and maintain processes for order management and billing, and develop comprehensive training and onboarding plans for these teams
Responsible for SOX controls in the order management, credit management, and billing processes
Support the accounting team during month-end close and financial reporting processes
Manage projects / initiatives to solve challenging issues by working with stakeholders across teams, managing communications, overseeing milestones, and helping deliver outcomes
Review and understand contractual agreements between the Company, clients, and external vendors
Enhance operational rigor across the organization, identifying gaps and developing scalable solutions to problems
Your Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field of study
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
Seven plus years of relevant work experience in accounting, business operations, or finance
Three to five years of professional experience working in a Law Firm and/or Management Consulting organization with direct people management experience
Cyber-security industry experience highly preferred
Direct experience with SalesForce and SAP required; experience with Clarizen a plus
Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting and financial reporting procedures, principles, and practices
Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize projects, solve problems requiring meticulous attention to detail, multitask, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of an organization
Ability to maintain confidentiality and diplomacy and communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed, especially around month-end close
The desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, and constantly adapting security firm wearing multiple hats

For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $139,000/yr to $224,850/yr.
