Senior Network Project Manager Bethesda No W-2 10 months JOB SUMMARY: The senior network project manager will become part of the project team working at the new Headquarters in Bethesda which opens July 1, 2022. The candidate will be a seasoned project manager with a unique blend of network technical experience as well as IT facilities/office build experience. The candidate will need to be local as there will time spent on the job site. Immediate availability is needed. The candidate will be a seasoned project manager with a unique blend of network technical experience as well as IT facilities/office build experience. The candidate will need to be local as there will time spent on the job site. Immediate availability is needed. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. Former network engineer is highly desired. 7+ years' experience as a Technical Project Manager with expertise in projects implementing engineering standards, documenting engineering designs, and participating in project cutovers; previous experience as an Enterprise Network Engineer is highly desirable 5 years' experience in IT project delivery that included the following: o Creation of technical delivery plans for large, complex networks o Delivery of facilities/office build projects; familiarity with physical plant/cabling o Oversight of WAN, LAN, and WiFi implementation with a focus on mission-critical, customer-facing applications and services o General understanding of network technologies, vendors, and carriers, specifically as it relates to the implementation/delivery of a Corporate Office building o Ability to identify delivery and schedule gaps and/or conflicts and organize solutions to resolve them o Clear and targeted communication with both the technical team and Business partners/stakeholders; ability to build excellent customer relationships o On time delivery of all project documentation, updates, and budget tracking Ability to work non-standard hours during service delivery and commissioning as needed CORE WORK ACTIVITIES: Managing Projects Plans and maintains the network project plan. Ensures that project milestones and required tasks are completed. Coordinates the network project plan with the general contractor project plan identifying dependencies Manages project risk Tracks project performance. Experienced with MS Project. Working knowledge of Jira/Confluence
