We are seeking a Senior Project Support Specialist to provide Full-Time support to a NASA contract in Greenbelt, MD .Job Summary: Provide multi-faceted senior-level project management support to the Terrestrial Information Systems Laboratory. Manage all aspects of the property management of the Terrestrial Information Systems Laboratory, which boasts over 1800 pieces of property.Responsibilities:

As property custodian, collect requirements for IT equipment for lab use, as well as associated software licenses, and hardware maintenance agreements. Obtain bids for all hardware, software, and maintenance to be purchased, and generate subsequent purchase requests. Track status of all procurements and maintain all pertinent records and documentation.

Administer and track the status of hardware, support equipment, and other property. Maintain project and GSFC property management systems, property inventory, and sensitive controlled property, excessing and disposal in accordance with applicable GSFC and project procedures.

Coordinate and prepare shipping documents (for controlled property) for government approval. Complete all scheduled property inventories.

Requirements:

Knowledge of the GSFC systems such as SAP, Equipment, and MOSI is desired.

Strong working knowledge of Office365, including SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Able to work with all levels.

Must have the ability to balance multiple priorities and respond/produce quality work efficiently with short deadline actions in a fast-paced environment.

The individual must also possess a strong sense of ethics, discretion, and professional sophistication.

Ability to communicate project status and issues to customers and leadership as they arise. May be responsible for taking direction from leadership and distributing information to team members, stakeholders, and leadership quickly and efficiently.

Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA GSFC. Extensive background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and 8 or more years of professional experience or 11 or more years of related experience in lieu of degree.
