- Hands-on experience with system design, configuration, and maintenance of Unified Communications (UC) solutions, data networking, VMWare, host virtualization, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) server and Windows server Operating Systems (OS) in accordance with NIST and DOD RMF requirements.
- Technical experience related to UC engineering and architecture.
- Knowledge of and experience with of Avaya CM, IVR, CTI, Avaya / Verint call recording, speech analytics, voice mail, CMS, and contact center-related technologies.
- Knowledge and experience with Avaya / Verint WFO platform, including DPA, Screen Capture, Scorecards, Workforce Management, and speech analytics.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and cross-organizationally.
- Lead design, management, and implementation of voice and voice-enabled solutions and to include:
- Avaya CM, AES, CMS, voice mail, Avaya / Verint WFO call recording, IVR, speech analytics, and CTI.
- Red Hat and Windows operating systems.
- utilities, diagnostic techniques, benchmarking methodologies.
- applicable communications protocols and hardware configurations.
- use of statistical and analytical tools for system monitoring and evaluation.
- Assess physical infrastructure to identify and mitigate potential single points of failure.

- Serve as technical lead for design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance for all aspects of telecommunications processes and procedures in support of a centralized telecommunications infrastructure that supports a large medical center with multiple departments and clinics, support departments, and tenant organizations, with a fluid work from home footprint.
- Design and lead implementation and ongoing maintenance of Avaya WFO DPA triggers, tagging of CRM data to phone calls and expansion of WFO DB as needed to support the addition of key metrics.
- Serve as technical lead for maintaining certification and configuration management for multiple hardware platforms and the interrelationship/interoperability of different operating systems in accordance with federal & DOD, and DHA policies.
- Develop, manage, and maintain telecommunications system documentation, including but not limited to network topology diagrams, as-built diagrams, Concept of Operations (CONOPS).
- Conduct technology assessments, reviews, and technical inspections to identify and mitigate potential architecture and security weaknesses and to ensure all features and functionality are implemented and function as intended and required.
- Communicate effectively with various levels of leadership and end users. Sphere of influence includes operations middle management through senior management/executives, vendors, customers, and internal system administrators and technicians.
- Provide input and recommendations in regard to short- and long-range departmental planning in the area.
- Assist with the development of business continuity solutions and assist in developing plans for disaster recovery.
