Senior Stream Restoration Engineer

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Stream Restoration Engineer with Project Management experience for immediate employment for the Germantown, MD office. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic engineering project manager to provide leadership as part of an established water resources engineering design team in our Germantown, Maryland office. This position will support ongoing stream restoration and water resources engineering projects across the DC-Metro/Mid-Atlantic region, including client interface, project management, and business development. 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Lead, direct, and perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks.Exercise professional judgment in selecting and developing engineering alternatives and solutions for technical problems. Work with junior engineers to develop details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives, where appropriateDevelop and apply hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analyses related to a variety of water resource engineering design projectsPrepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids, including CAD design plansProvide leadership, direction, and mentoring to junior-level team members
