Scope of Work: As the SharePoint and Power Platform Developer, you will be part of a business process re[1]engineering team comprised of business process analyst, project managers, and developers to support an IT Maintenance and Modernization effort for clients Department of Health and Human Services. In this role you will be responsible for understanding, designing, developing and deploying solutions that meet clients’ needs. Optimizing the use of Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint and aligning with best practice implementation standards.1.The Department of Health and Human Services is seeking at least one (1) highly skilled SharePoint and Power Platform Developer (contractor), who will be part of a business process re-engineering team comprised of business process analyst, project managers, and developers to support an IT Maintenance and Modernization to develop new and maintain current SharePoint sites and a Power Platform Apps and workflows. Also, to assist in the migration of current HighGear (no code, low code) workflows to the Power Platform. 2.The Contractor would be expected to coordinate/collaborate with clients Department of Technology and Enterprise Business Services (TEBS), DHHS department staff, State agencies and other entities as required.

3.General tasks include: 3.1.Act as Expert Developer, assigned tasks/projects will include:3.1.1.Sharing knowledge of Microsoft technologies/Dataverse (configuration and customizations) Model Driven / Canvas Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint.3.1.2.Migrations from HighGear to Dataverse / Power Platform environments3.1.3.Maintaining SharePoint sites/subsites3.1.4.Responsibility for overall systems design and architecture, including new solutions and patterns.3.1.5.Work with IT partners to design, configure, test and deploy changes to SharePoint sites/Dataverse tables, columns, forms, workflows, reports and dashboards.3.1.6.Maintaining HighGear workflows3.1.7.Develop Canvas and model-driven Power Apps solutions 3.1.8.Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities3.1.9.Keen attention to detail3.1.10.Verbal and written communication skills3.2.Help ensure that technical and functional requirements are defined, validated, and implemented in a structured, consistent manner that promotes predictability and quality of outcomes so that tasks/projects are completed on time and within scope.3.3.Help ensure the proper documentation including technical manuals and site diagrams, where and when appropriate, are in place, e.g., requirements document and support plans, to facilitate knowledge transfer in a manner that positions DHHS to assume primary responsibility for the ongoing support of the systems and capabilities implemented during this process.3.4.Coordinate the activities of various county Government groups and vendors that are part of the Project Team.3.4.1.Conduct/participate in regular status, including potential risks briefing for Workgroup and Project Team.3.4.2.Assist in the preparation of training documentation and conduct training for trainers.4. Other related duties as assigned by supervisor

5. Required Technical Skills & Hands-on experienced:

5.1.Minimum Skill Set 5.1.1. At least 10 years of prior SharePoint experience, 5 of which include experience developing and maintaining multiple Sites simultaneously.5.1.2. Prior experience with mid to large scale development projects involving power platform Apps and workflows for hundreds of users, and roles.5.1.3. At least 1 - 2 years supporting a Dataverse environment.5.1.4. Knowledge of software and implementation methodologies.

5.1.5. At least 5 years of experience with government, health and human services programs, and information systems.5.1.6. Experience working in fast paced environment5.1.7. Excellent oral and written communication skills as evidenced by experience in the development of reports or presentations to Senior and or Executive Leadership5.1.8. At least 2 - 5 years Power Automate experience, Model Driven Power Apps, Canvas App & Flow.5.1.9. Interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization5.1.10. Advanced Knowledge (2-3 years of experience) of HighGear platform

5.2.Preferred Skill Set 5.2.1.Experience in relational database or Azure stack5.2.2.Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint / PowerApps in a development capacity 6.

Education 6.1. BS or BA degree (in a technical field is a plus), Master's degree preferred.
