Program Summary The Leidos Intelligence Group has multiple career opportunities for Software Engineers on our large, multi-year contract for the development, integration, deployment and sustainment of large collection systems. The work that's being done on this Leidos-led, prime contract is extremely important to the government and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies. Job Summary Leidos is seeking Software Developers with varying levels of experience that are self-motivated, enjoy working directly with the customer and with the end-users and value high quality software. Software Developers will join small teams working with some of the brightest developers in the industry in a Quick Reaction Capabilities environment. It's fast paced with normal schedules and releases. However, the team does not get bogged down in processes. The goal is to get things done quickly and accurately. Developers are encouraged to work autonomously and explore new and cutting edge solutions.

Primary Responsibilities As a Software Developer on this Quick Reaction Capabilities team you will provide system and software life-cycle support for incremental software functionality. As part of the effort to make sequencing more efficient, the team is open to exploring new technologies and/or options such as machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts. Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 5+ years experience with the software development lifecycle
  • Within the last 7 years, a minimum of 5 years' experience with designing, coding, testing, and debugging software to run on Linux operating system
