DSA is looking to hire a result oriented ITSM Developer to support an established DOD Customer. MilTech provides enterprise and targeted capabilities to the Army Acquisition workforce. The ITSM Developer will be a critical member of the core team supporting the MilTech customer. They will be relied upon to provide subject matter expertise in ITSM. The ITSM Developer will analyze requirements, estimate work effort, design, and prepare detailed specifications for projects, customizations, enhancements, and configuration requests. Regular interactions will be with MilTech government leadership and stakeholders, government customer leadership and stakeholders from customer organizations, DSA peers and leadership.The ITSM Developer will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects and applications and participate in the full lifecycle from requirements to design to support using BMC Remedy ITSM 9.x and BMC Helix environments for a dynamic organization supporting the Army. The government customer team works in partnership with the DSA team and subcontractors to provide a cohesive support model to a varied customer base. This role may require an onsite meeting at least once a week; however, there is potential for remote work. The work schedule is dependent on our customers' requirements and available EST during core business hours 8-5.DSA employees must demonstrate excellent problem solving and communication skills to work on our team. A secret level clearance is required for this position.Requirements include but are not limited to:
- 3-5+ years BMC Remedy Developer experience
- BMC Remedy tools experience: Developer Studio, Remedy Migrator, SMART-IT, Smart Reporting, Data Management Tool, Atrium Integrator,
- Knowledge of ITIL ITSM Best Practices
- Experience in one or more of the following: Incident Management, Asset Management, Problem Management, CMDB, and Knowledge Management.
- Experience creating SAP Business Objects reports
- Java, .NET, Kinetic Task/Kinetic
- Ability to identify Courses of actions and communicate technical solutions for a non-technical audience
- DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification: Active CompTIA Security+ CE
- BMC Remedy Certification (e.g. BMC Certified Administrator or BMC Remedy AR)
- Bachelor s degree in Math, Computer Science, or Information Management\Systems, or Technical Degree
