DSA is looking to hire a results-oriented secret cleared Software Specialist. The Software Specialist will be responsible to manage and monitor installed systems and infrastructure in a Virtual Data Center environment. Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.The Specialist will:
- Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes. Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
- Four years of experience with government information systems
- Database experience in MS SQL, Postgre SQL, MySQL
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Cyber security Workforce or Certification in Windows Server 2016/2019
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting in virtual data center environments
- Administering web based application servers
- Familiarity with JPEO-CBRND
- Active secret security Clearance
