Sr. Developer C#/SQL (Bethesda)

Location:

Bethesda, Maryland

Required:• ALL candidates MUST be on camera on a laptop (not a phone) during all interviews.• Professional experience with

C# and SQL Server• Strong communication skills• Local to DMV area and be able to come to the office twice a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) (hybrid model)Microsoft .NET frameworks (C#), MS SQL Server, and Snowflake. The critical path to success is to write code that accesses multiple APIs/services/microservices that run with extremely low latency and can retrieve and store data as structured and/or non-structured objects.
  • Develop features and improvements to the Radian products in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
  • Work with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features.
  • Write code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.

Knowledge:
  • Professional experience with C# (required) React, SQL Server
  • Experience with web application development.
  • Experience with git and CI/CD.
  • Understanding of DevOps processes and the value technologies like Serverless and Kubernetes bring to the software deployment and development process.
  • A solid understanding of core web and browser concepts.
  • A solid understanding of relational data and/or non-relational models.
  • Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems.
  • Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a hybrid and largely asynchronous work environment.
