Job Family :Systems Engineering (Digital)Travel Required :NoneClearance Required :Ability to Obtain NACIWhat You Will Do :

Familiarity and practical application of advanced principles of ITIL/ITSM.

Participate in systems engineering activities (in a support role) which include one or more of the following: Concept of Operations formulation, requirements definition, system analysis and design, validation and verification, system integration and, system performance analysis.

May participate in risk management and preparation of technical reviews.

Provide guidance and direction into the support of O&M activities and associated best practices

Manage, track, report, process and assign support tickets or change requests daily.

Knowledge of government security policies and general vulnerabilities management.

Attend change, problem management, AAR and other review boards as required.

Monitors system health and configurations in order to ensure system health and functionality as well as remediate problems/issues in a timely manner.

Monitor incident trends and coordinate process improvement proactive resolution processes.

Develop, implement and enforce process and SOP’s for O&M and incident response.

Ability to present to executive management incident debriefs and root cause analysis reports.

Must be familiar with source and artifact control, configuration and knowledge management.

Be a customer advocate by consistently meeting, exceeding expectations and incorporating customer service into all aspects of work.

What You Will Need :

BA/BS degree with at least 6-8 years of experience. In lieu of degree, 4 years of additional experience in a related field

6-8 full-time years of progressive operations experience into an enterprise setting, including demonstrated O&M experience (advanced troubleshooting, patching, hardening, etc.).

6-8 full-time years of progressive Linux expertise leading to RHEL7 & 8 required.

Extensive (5+ years) infrastructure and Linux/Unix based application support experience.

High proficiency (5+ years) of script writing in Perl, Python and various shells.

3+ years of progressive VMware experience.

Able to perform rotational on-call support in a 24x7x365 operational environment.

Ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

U.S. Citizen or Green card is required for the position.

Candidate must successfully pass a Federal Background Investigation.

The annual salary range for this position is $99,000.00-$148,500.00.
