Senior Scientist (Antibody Discovery Group) for a fast-growing R&D biopharmaceutical company in

Rockville, MD. The Sr. Scientist will support the research of in vitro technologies for antibody drug discovery projects for CNS diseases. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career with R&D antibody discovery.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Scientist:
  • Conduct molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and antibody discovery methods
  • Perform antibody expression and purification, cell-based assays, cell surface binding, and functional assays
  • Use in vitro biochemical and cellular assays to characterize antibody properties
  • Develop and optimize antibody molecules through sub-library, humanization, and affinity tuning
  • Utilize FACS, Octet, Hybridoma fusion, and/or single gene cloning

Requirements of the Sr. Scientist:
  • Ph.D. in Biochemical, Cell/Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Immunology, Neurobiology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of antibody discovery experience
  • Prior experience with Antibody Discovery and Hybridoma technology, and/or Single-cell cloning
  • Must be eligible to work in the US
