Support Analyst Developer Investment Bank Experience We have a new twelve month plus Support Analyst Developer opportunity available in Baltimore, Maryland. Support Analyst Developer who is passionate about data, services and reporting.The firms team is building a suite of next-generation n-tier, native cloud-enabled applications, while supporting existing processes. You will be part of an Agile team of smart, hardworking people whose mission is to develop capabilities used by their Enterprise Risk, Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Analysts. This is an exciting role that will be a mixture of support, analysis, troubleshooting and development. You will gain exposure to sophisticated business logic, data and technical challenges.You will be responsible for providing day to day support and technical assistance to customers, troubleshooting complex system issues and working with stakeholders and the technical team to resolve them.You will be closely aligned with senior analysts who bring a wealth of experience in the Asset Management and Investment Risk space.You will be involved in process improvement; providing input to enhance existing workflows and working with the technical team and users to implement those improvements.This is a fantastic opportunity to get exposure to the financial services industry and next generation cloud technologies while using your skills to solve challenges.Responsibilities:Respond to incidents raised by users and system issues through our ticketing systems.Gather requirements, analyze, troubleshoot and work with customers in resolving issues.Analyze and troubleshoot data investigations using your working knowledge of SQL, creating remediating SQL scripts were necessary.Use the continuous integration/deployment pipeline to handle deployments providing tactical fixes.Be responsible for monitoring the daily, monthly, and ad hoc data loads from internal/external providers that provide risk analytics for our numerous portfolios.Monitor daily batch operations critical to the Investment Risk process.Work with the technical and enterprise support teams to handle any difficult tasks that need escalation.Create metrics of issues raised through the ticketing system.Use these metrics to improve service quality by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes that would reduce frequently occurring incidents.Suggest enhancements and work with the technical team on resolving frequently raised issues.Be involved in new technical improvements.Manage support documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.Core Skills Required:Technical knowledge of the .net platform, especially C#.Have used an IDE, either Visual Studio or JetBrain Rider.Working Knowledge of c# code, with the expectation of being able to read the logic of c# code and in places.Ability to read and develop SQL scripts:Basic CRUD.Understand and make updates to stored procedures.Investigative nature to help discover problems and patterns raised by customers and stakeholders.Be proactive, have a high interest and be highly focused to resolve issues.Ability to understand complex technical architecture and system functionality.Good communication skills with the ability to work independently.Experience of working in a cloud environment preferably AWS.Nice to haves: (But are NOT required.)Experience scripting continuous integration/deployment pipelines and doing deployments.Experience with structured reporting tools such as SSRS.Knowledge of DataGrip and Postgres.The interview process will include an initial telephone or Zoom screening.Please let us know your interest for this position.
